The
island of Madagascar is wordly
known for many things : It’s unique fauna, it’s flora, it’s seashores and even
for the cartoon bearing it’s name but not really for it’s jewish community.
Indeed, 121 men, women and children
officially converted to judaism in May 2016 with the wholehearted conviction
that it had to be done in order to truly and authentically connect to the Torah
and the jewish people. The orthodox branch that we represent is currently under the supervision of
Rabbi Yosef Laufer שליט"א
in Beitar and Rabbi Binyamin Partouche שליט"א
who's also the Rabbi of the french speaking community in Raanana, Israel.
